This beautiful jacket is made from Cone White Oak Selvedge Denim. This is the last White Oak denim we have, and it was made custom made for the Dickies 1922 line with historically accurate grey yarns on the back side. The construction details for this jacket are taken from a sketch in the Dickies 1928 catalog including a chin strap to secure the neck closure, the side entry watch pocket and pencil division on the left chest pocket, a right chest inside pocket and an outside one also, the “half soled” lower pockets (lining in the bottom half of the pocket for durability) as well as our 1930’s cloverleaf buttons and the Dickies Best label which was Dickies first logo and brand name. Other historic features are the Bi-Swing pleated back for ease of movement and fit, and the very traditional workwear style cuff. The selvedge edge of the cloth is used just inside the button front. Stitching is the vintage off white color.
